Seven Things About Myself for Jackie

 

1. I eat peanut butter with my ice cream. It’s delicious!

2. I have lived in New Mexico, Texas, Illinois, and Colorado.

3. The only place I’ve been outside of North America is Israel. It’s a beautiful, diverse country.

4. I love to paint and draw and do any kind of art.

5. One of my most embarrassing moments was when I was running on a treadmill, dropped my iPod, stooped to pick it up, and fell and was thrown off the treadmill and landed on my butt. Haha. There were a couple guys working out in the same room…I’m sure they thought I was an idiot. :)

6. I like cold weather more than hot weather. I HATE sweating. And at least when you’re cold you can put more things on. When you’re too hot you just have to sit in it. Although in-between in the best of both worlds. A balmy 70-75 degree day is perfect. :)

7. I, too, love cats (which I know you’ll appreciate). They are the best! My family currently has a kitten named Mishka, and she is so much fun. I wish I had a cat, but one of my roommates is allergic. :(

Again, as I said in my last post…I don’t follow a ton of people. And I just nominated a bunch of people for the other award! And geez, 15 is a lot to ask of anyone! (Okay, I’ll quit complaining). But here are blogs I really like that deserve a blogger award. :)

2. http://distractedblogger.wordpress.com/ – This up-and-coming blogger is a great friend. She just started blogging, and I have enjoyed her posts so far! She’s all about embracing herself, too. And she takes ballet with me. :)

3. http://ruthlayne.wordpress.com/ – Another fellow writer that I’ve really enjoyed reading so far. She has great writing tips.

4. http://helpstowrite.wordpress.com – Another guy just wrestling through all the questions of Christianity. Keep at it!

5. http://thetalkingllama.wordpress.com – This is a good friend who is so intelligent! He doesn’t blog much anymore, but when he does–it makes you really think about things. He’s been through a lot lately, and he deserves an award. :)

6. http://scholarlykitchen.sspnet.org/ – A site about the publishing world. I find it highly interesting.

7. http://bluemonkeywriting.wordpress.com/ – A group of writers who met at a writing conference and talk all about the world of writing. Good, versatile posts!

8. http://stumblingzombie.wordpress.com – A devotional blog that has a very clever name, I do believe.

9. http://twominutesofgrace.com/ – I just started following this blog, but I like the devotional content so far!
